"Really beautiful building that's been restored with plenty of character. The location is excellent. The staff and the manager, Aitee, made us- my wife and two young children- very welcome and was fantastic.
Really recommend this hotel. "

"Oli and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Wi-Fi, though, was spotty. The room facing the street could be noisy at times with late night revelers from pubs at the other end of the street."

"Staying at the Areca is like coming home. The staff remember me and are warm, friendly & helpful. The rooms are comfortable & charming. Love the design of this row of heritage houses, making it a cohesive and cosy hotel.
Location cannot be beaten. "
"Being on a unesco world heritage site, I loved their use of Old colonial furniture and fixtures. Staff were great. Very friendly. Great breakfast. Right in the middle of old town Georgetown. Close to the free CAT shuttle bus. The Red Village market a perfect place for great reasonably priced dinner. Would stay there again"
