"It was a wonderful experience we stayed in OZO . The bed is super comfy and we have a really good sleep . The stuff was super nice and super helpful . And love the parking system with lift . We don’t have to drive all the way up to the multilevel parking . Simply drive your car into the lift and it will bring you to the parking lot . It was an easy and quick parking system . "Well maintained hotel at the heart of GeorgeTown. Excellent location for connectivity to the mainland, via the ferries’ jetty, very close to historical sites (eg the Khoo Kongsi), local eateries and to the lively night scene. Staff are friendly and helpful (special shout out to Nick and Eline). The night staff during my stay could smile more or just offer a warm greeting. Breakfast menu is fair and could be improved with more items l(eg coffee in a pot) plus tastier cereal and sausages. Room amenities are reasonably complete only ergonomics could be slightly improved (eg more flat space to put stuff, localised electrical plug for the kettle and a movable shower head to prevent water splashing onto the wooden door. However I am very pleased there is an in-room safety box and an air conditioner that could be turned off completely when the room gets too cold. The price is reasonable for a boutique hotel, Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would strongly recommend the hotel to local and international guests."

"I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The property is beautiful, but it’s the staff and service that truly set this place apart. Throughout my stay, all the staff were incredibly attentive, helped me find my way around the best local spots, and had the most positive and helpful attitude all round. The location was also perfectly placed in Georgetown, close to all the tourist spots whilst not being on a busy or noisy road. Breakfast was included and, much like the heritage of Penang itself, I was treated to a range of local delicacies reflecting the wide mix of cultures found across the island. The room itself was fantastic. I was actually upgraded to a bigger suite, and the bathroom has to be the standout feature, with a gorgeous tub placed perfectly beneath huge windows. The hotel offers a butler bath service where they draw you a bath and provide some divine tea to pair with your soak. The toiletries are all Aesop, and the hotel only has six rooms, paying homage to its heritage with lodging upstairs and a wonderful restaurant below. This is definitely worth the money. For the price, the level of personal service and those little luxury touches made it feel far more exclusive than the rate would suggest. If I’m being picky, the air conditioning was great, though only had an on/off setting rather than adjustable temp, which was a minor issue for me as I feel the cold easily. Between the staff and those little personal touches, I’m already looking for an excuse to go back."

"This is a lovely heritage-style hotel in the middle of Chulia St. While it's close to all the action, it's also an oasis of calm inside. The pool is small but nice to have (and rare for a heritage hotel). We spent three nights here and on arrival were told that the original room we were booked had been overbooked, but comms via Expedia hadn't come through in advance, so we were downgraded to a Courtyard room, which turned out to be slightly bigger and more comfortable than expected from other reviews. As compensation we were offered the final night in the suite, which was absolutely lovely - I could easily have spent a week in there! Staff were incredibly nice, thoughtful, helpful and kind. Breakfast was so-so - while the buffet was not the most appealing, there were also omelettes made to order, and you're not short of every kind of food option around the neighbourhood anyway."
