"Two positives- location ( close to Main Street) and quiet location but that’s where it stops. Dirty, old, dark & dingy room. Gave me the eeek "

"Air conditioning was OK except after it had been on a while it made a strange noise, so you had to turn it off and restart. Everything in the unit you needed crockery and cutlery etc. plenty of tea and coffee. Parking was easy, plenty of room. The room was fine but needed more power points. "

"Lovely big living room, comfy big bed, kitchen OK, road noise annoying, the place is cute but a bit tired. There were three of us so we enjoyed having plenty room. Overall quite OK but maybe a bit pricey for three people, might be better value for larger group."

"Hotel itself is an older building but has had some work done. Our deluxe king room with balcony/patio (all ground level rooms) was spacious & clean with large separate bathroom. With nice weather took advantage to sit outside and enjoy. On the Mayday Hills grounds so nice and quiet at night. Rang ahead to check on the bbq and it was ready for us during the stay. The walk back from town is uphill but very manageable. Would recommend."
