"This was our 2nd stay at this lovely villa. Very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday and very well located to explore the surrounding areas of both Spain and Portugal. Hope to be back again in the future."

"Second time staying here. Lovely reception area. Friendly staff. Large bedroom with lovely view over the river. Good sized bathroom with plenty of toiletries provided. However bathroom was a bit dated and worn looking in places. The grab bar in the bath was corroded and didn’t look the best. Good choice available for breakfast. Bar menu in the evening was very disappointing. I ordered a toasted sandwich with turkey - it consisted of a toasted bap with about four slices of shiny processed turkey beside it. Did not look very attractive and certainly not what was expected from a four star hotel. Overall I would definitely stay here again as the location and ambience are very good."

"Actually would prefer to give a bad review as means this amazing penthouse would be available the next time we booked 🙂. Everything was as advertised, great communication from the manager, and a perfect handover on arrival with us being shown to the flat and everything explained. Beds comfortable, very spacious, and well equipped kitchen. The sun lounge and patio were brilliant, and loved having a big gas bbq on the terrace. Meant we ate in a few nights. Highly recommend this penthouse, and we will definitely be back."

"12 nights family holiday. We’ve stayed before at this hotel and we were delighted with our room - ask for a rear view of the nature reserve! Food is always excellent at the Iberostar. We stayed half board so can’t comment on drinks but they looked good. I would say the lighting in the canteen style restaurant needs working on as the ambience was OK for evening dinner. The hotel is now 90% Spanish/Portuguese guests which appeals to us but, English is very limited do you have to try your Espanol! Entertainment was busy and they worked hard. I would say that the hotel is in need of some modernisation now but, it is still a decent choice for a beach holiday. The playa was great, Neptune’s still going strong in the marina and the restaurants in Punta del Moral are still outstanding quality and value. Ayamonte still a nightmare to park and a little rundown - watch out for the beggar parking attendants. We visited Sanlucar de Guidiana and absolutely loved it - zipwire and all! Muy Bien!"

"We grew up in Spain but live in the US. We wanted to go back and visit family and rented Gaby's house. We absolutely loved the time we had there. The pool is beautiful, the outdoors grill area was something we used every day and the layout of the rooms is great: my wife and I had the master bedroom upstairs while my inlaws were on the first floor. Gaby and her husband were very nice and super responsive. Overall, we had an amazing time!"
