"The ground floor unit is beneath the main accommodation which is like a big house and so the noise upstairs can be an issue. We were lucky there were no families with children upstairs. The kitchen is well appointed and very clean. The living room space is quite adequate for 2 people. But the bedroom is a let-down - only one bed lamp on the one bedside table. "House is clean and modern with everything we need for a 6 days trip in Cairns. Plenty of space inside out for a family of 4 plus 2 adults. We didn't use the pool but enjoy the view of mountains very much. Location is great as it's quiet but close enough to attractions. Thank you for having us. We truly enjoyed our stay."

"We loved our stay in Cairns and this house was really nice. It was so comfortable and is very conveniently located. The owners are very nice and easy to work with. We loved sitting out on the back porch with our coffee in the mornings. They were very responsive to our questions. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the Cairns area."

"Lovely peaceful area with very little traffic. The property is unmistakably "beach hut" from a bygone era, but brought back many childhood memories of holidaying in similar properties. The interior was clean and well-appointed - certainly not luxury but certainly adequate. Fully fenced yard for a dog or two. "The place was great - and given that Catherine had stayed there herself due to the flooding and cyclone, she had done a great job of getting it ready for us, when she could have just as easily cancelled the booking. Catherine is so accommodating and the creek was fantastic. Okay, so not the Ritz, but if that is what you want - go there. This is a adequate little shed-house in the rainforest - so you get everything that goes with that. The dogs also loved it."

"My husband and I had a fabulous time staying at Sally’s restored church. She is absolutely a gem of a host! Sally was very easy to communicate with before check in, gave us some sight seeing recommendations during our stay, and was easy to work with to coordinate check out. The church looks exactly like the photos, which is always nice. The kitchenette is perfect for coffee and breakfast at home while enjoying the morning light through the stained glass windows. "Easy 10 minute ride from the airport. Situated in N.Cairns, an easy 10-20 minute walk to shops, restaurants, and marina. Very relaxing accommodations that was away from the hustle/bustle of downtown."

"If you love nature, you will love The Canopy! We spotted a platypus on the first day and a cassowary on our way out! The birds are beautiful and the turtles plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They even built a fire for us on a cool day. Loved every minute of our time there. "
