Find a Great Motel Athens

"The walls were paper thin and we heard the loud people next door until midnight and then again starting at 6:15am. When we called to complain at the front desk, we were told it was a single person in that room. However, he must have had others visit his room. The walls are paper thin. The remote did not work. TV options were terrible. Started the day at the work out room and then was told by my husband not to sweat too much because there was no water. There was no water the rest of the morning until we checked out which was very disruptive due to the plans that I drove out here for. Apparently there is a well and the well had run dry. That is not something I should have to worry about after paying nearly 300$ for a room. I always love Holiday Inn and I feel bad writing an unfavorable review but to travel this far to have no water all morning was miserable."

"Free coffee, tea and free granola breakfast . You can order food there too. Had friendly kid friendly.. staff were amazing! Rooms were clean. Music every Friday and Saturday. Pond needs work"

"We loved the family feel to the hotel. Staff were super helpful and thoughtful. My son and I loved the pool! Parking and the proximity to a gas station were an added plus. The breakfast options could use some updates but coffee was great! Adjusting the room temperature took some time to figure out. But this was minimal in comparison to our overall positive experience. Would stay there again."

"The desk is not usually staffed and the hotel seems nearly empty. For $200, my room had no closet, nowhere to hang clothes. There was a hook on the back of the bathroom door, but it had a dirty towel on it. Need I say more?"

"Breakfeast was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Bed was soooo comfortable. Brilliant. "

"Pillows were too soft there was not enough charging places in the room for additional phones, laptops, etc."

"Everything was excellent except the bar/restaurant was closed Sun, Mon and Tuesday evenings. Not what you expect when a bar is advertised."
