"This small, authentic, owner-operator historic hotel is an uncommon experience. It isn’t perfect, with a very narrow, winding staircase (no lift), but the old-school key access and features like original floors and windows, large floor space, and super friendly family staff, we felt like it was a great value and location for Amsterdam. I’d recommend it. If you’re looking for modern amenities in lieu of value, this might not be the spot, but if location, authenticity, and value are important to...

Best Western Amsterdam

8/10 Good
"We stayed 4 night 5 days. The location was perfect, with easy access to the tram and bus stations, as well as a supermarket nearby. There was also a bar in the hotel where we could enjoy drinks and food. The room was very clean and quiet, and we had a good night's sleep. However, it was a bit small for four people, due to open shower water tended to splash everywhere, leaving the bathroom floor wet. Also, the sink did not drain very well. The reception staff were very helpful and kindly allowed us to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a comfortable, restful experience."
