"Hotel was beautiful (and swanky!) and super well located for so many things, especially if you plan on seeing the Rijks and Van Gogh Musuems. Oh, and right next to Vondelpark! Great cafe's nearby, too. On a busy street, but didn't hear the traffic at all from inside. Close to several train lines and a direct bus route straight to Schipol which was a life-saver. We booked a boat cruise directly across the street and couldn't have been easier. "

"Excellent location, quiet and clean. The staff went above and beyond for us from the moment we checked in early. I stupidly left my phone in the taxi on the way to the train station. When I realized I’d lost it, my friend called the hotel, who immediately checked my room and when they didn’t find it, took it upon themselves to call the taxi company. Within a few minutes of calling the hotel, they’d tracked down the taxi, located my phone, and sent the driver to meet me at the train station so we’d make our departure. This is WAY above the call of duty, and saved the day. Would recommend 1000 times over. "

Our room was enormous, beautifully kept, and full of character. The location was unbeatable—perfectly placed to enjoy everything Amsterdam has to offer. What really made the stay unforgettable was the service. It felt like stepping back in time to when hospitality meant something special. The staff were available 24/7, arranging taxis, anticipating needs, and treating us with the kind of old-school attentiveness you’d expect from a personal butler. Their warmth and professionalism elevated the entire trip. The hotel’s amenities were just as impressive—the comfortable bed, a luxurious tub, the pool, and all the little details that made it easy to balance both business and leisure. I even had local friends visit, and they were equally impressed with the beauty and history of the building. I have no complaints—only gratitude.
