Great stay at this hotel despite the current situation going on in the world. Would recommend this hotel to others. Historic building with lots of uniqueness.

The building is a historic landmark and it is very unique. The rooms are quite different and a throw back to an art decor style with wood wainscoting and elaborate ceilings. Our bathroom was unique and modern. We had a beautiful view of the interior canal with the older Amsterdam houses. The front desk is very friendly and cooperative when problems arose. Which was great because we ran into several of them. Our room was quite cold due to a problem with the radiator. We received a heater and extra comforter that helped. Housekeeping needs to be a bit more on point. Missing soaps etc. Glass cabinet shelves, wine glasses, coffee cups all dusty. They did improve after we may several comments at the front desk. The bar/restaurant was very good. Due to the heavy rains we had dinner there a few nights and every dish was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We also took the hotel tour given on Saturday mornings. The building is a beautiful piece of architecture and interesting interior designs.

This place is great and the free mini bar and nespresso in every room really put it over the top
