Very friendly staff and was able to assist us when Expida messed up. The staff was amazing and would definitely stay there again if I was to go back. 20 minute walk to the Heineken experience and the Van Gogh Museum.

Lovely hotel with good service

Property is lovely and in a nice area. The first room we had included stairs which wouldn't work for my partner, but they happily changed rooms for us. Only real issue was the poor Wi-Fi strength, something that had come up before in these old European hotels.

Good value stay.

The hotel is in a great location and very comfortable. Lovely spacious room and mostly good facilities. The kitchen area could be better equipped with enough cutlery for 2 guests would be useful. The hotel is slow to respond to enquiries but overall a great stay. Thank you.

I would give it a 3.5 if that’s an option. Room itself is great, but no wifi in the room when that’s promised is quite inconveniencing — couldn’t get any work done there. Also, the check-in process is quite slow to get your QR code for the room and resulted in us waiting at the door a few times. Other than those easy fixes, good stay and no other complaints.

Great value in good location

Really good value for a two bedroom suite in an excellent location by Artis Zoo. Rooms were cosy and comfortable with a small kitchenette and sitting area. Would stay again!

I was placed in noisy unclean room 15 then moved to room 21 which had no refrigerator. The rooms need deep cleaning but otherwise comfortable. The staff was helpful

Overall, a very good stay. Amazing historic space with modern fit-out and amenities. Great location with a tram stop and line to key locations and central station very close by. Apartment was a little worn from use and some additional chairs for lounging and dining for 4 people would have been useful.

Great property, and use the #14 Tram as it gets you to/from the centre and Main station in 10 mins. You will want to get off at "Artis" for the hotel suite. The rooms are a bit tired but clean, and you cannot fault the support and location, etc ... I Loved our family time there

The rooms were very comfortable, and good use of space. Also have all the amenities you would need from An apartment. Location is great. Only downside, WiFi in room 10 at the bottom room does not work and there is no reception.

2 nights in Amsterdam

Booked in for 2 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was very spacious and we were at the back of the property. The room was clean and tidy but we did need extra bedding for the sofa bed for our eldest. The kitchen had the basics and a few coffee pods and tea bags were nice. Overall, it was a good stay. The QR code to get in was a bit of a faff, we needed to phone the hotel and pay the local taxes on a link before the QR was sent. once we had it, the system worked well. A nice spot opposite the zoo and very close to a couple of tram stops.

Managers on duty, Alexandra at first then Finn, both excellent. We had an issue with TV not working, sorted quickly by moving us to another room. A bit more detail on cleaning would be a good thing, showed issues to Alexandra. Overall a very happy stay Nigel and caroline

Great trip with a good set up for four people but the cleanliness is the main thing that lets it down. Lots of cobwebs that are easily reachable, dead flies on the windowsill and greasy marks on the wall, stained toilet and shower smelt like wet dog. It’s in a great location with lots of wonderful restaurants close by, tram stop very close but in a quiet area. Staff are super helpful.

Amazing 2 floor suite, kitchen, heated floors in the bathroom, comfortable bedding, lots of towels and robes provided, museums and centraal station are all within 30 minutes of walking, gorcery store around the corner and coffee shops all around you. The only things I’d knock are the wifi cutting out in the downstairs bedroom whoch caused all my international data to be used while I was asleep, the carpets could use a shampoo’ing, and the QR system is a little picky when it wants to work but they were awesome and answered the phone every time. But overall a great and luxurious feel at an amazing price! Would recommend and definitely come back!

A good location, close to the central train station, but also various tourist attractions. The unit we had could have used a re-carpeting, the floor was not the cleanest. Also, the bathroom sink was stuffed and, despite my best efforts to explain they need to use a plunger, the sink continued to be stuffed the whole time we were there. Otherwise the hosts were friendly and tried to provide things like towels and take the trash out. With some little improvements here and there, this can be a really good place to stay while in Amsterdam.
