"While the hotel is very nice, the service is not that great and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. The hotel rooms are also beocming a little dated. "Nice beach resort with an excellent beach when the tide is out but no beach when it’s in. The Italian restaurant was mediocre at best and over-priced, but the other 2 restaurants were nice as was the excellent breakfast. The room was spacious but there was no place to sit except a desk chair. It was also exceedingly damp. The main issue for us was the use of the space in front of our room for events causing some noise. "

"VALA Hua Hin is a beautiful property with friendly staff. Equipped with 1 F&B restaurant, gym and long stretch of pool. It's quiet and we enjoy the drive in & out from Hotel to the city. Car is definitely recommended as the location is a distance away to the city. Extensive buffet breakfast and we love the juice station. Very comfortable bedding but the housekeeping missed out our room on one of the days. Overall, should you are looking for a quiet getaway; VALA Hua Hin is a good choice."

"This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Overall this hotel is very nice and just a hop to the beach (if you can stand the heat). There is a nice small restaurant you can eat at with reasonable prices. Drink prices are just a little on the expensive side. The pool area is very nice with ample seating although very few people seem to sit out int he heat. The main clientele of the hotel seem to be Thai nationals. We did not really see any non Thai nationals. Possibly the only...
