Interior entrance
JEN Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La
4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1006)
"My first trip to Penang and after reading past reviews decided to go with JEN Penang. The stay was pleasant and the staff were very courteous plus super helpful. Location wise it is within walking distance to many attractions nearby and the famous Top of Penang. Buffet breakfast has a very good spread of food choices and tasty. I would say there are 2 areas which probably need some step up. Firstly, the pool closes at 7pm and we didn’t get the chance to use it as our day trip ends about 6.45pm....

Mercure Penang Beach
4.0 star property

"It's a nice hotel for the rate charged. Great service and nice location by the beach. Only complaint I have is the cramped bathroom. The door to the bathroom opens inwards and makes it very tight to move around in the bathroom. I don't understand why they don't have the door open outwards instead. The door frames will allow that."

Cheong Fatt Tze - The Blue Mansion
4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (386)
"We loved staying at The Blue Mansions. After spending a few days walking the streets of George Town, it was a pleasure to come back each day. The building and interior are stunning, and the service provided by the staff is first-class. It was a real treat to have our own Jacuzzi bath and to step outside with access to the pool. Had this hotel been anywhere else in the world, i am sure we would be paying triple the price, which is well outside of our range. We stayed in the 50's room with our...
