“fun weekend”

the room was really lovely & the lobby was filled with a beautiful floral scent. Not sure if it was actually from the exotic flowers but it was wonderful! Dinner was an experience overlooking Central Park (the weather was perfect) & the staff very attentive. I'd rate the food 3 1/2. All in all a lovely stay, however check the prices at the bar... you may want to go to a neighborhood cafe for 1/2 the price.

Great location right on Central Park South. Convenient to everything. Room was spacious and well appointed. Staff was courtieous and helpful. Situated among NYC's finest hotels at a more modest rate. Luxury at an affordable price. I would go back in a moment.

Very happy with this hotel. Staff and service was excellent! Everything was very clean. Good location. Very close to subways. One small negative is that there are no vending machines for soda and snack cravings. However, they do have 24 hour room service. I would go back!

“Just what we hoped for and expected - A little bit of luxury in New York”

This is a lovely hotel - faded chic which we found very endearing. Worth the extra for a room overlooking the park even though the views are restricted because the trees are in full leaf in June. Fluffy white bath robes, slippers and bath towels added to the comfort and luxury at the end of a hard day sightseeing. The staff were courteous, efficient and friendly. Whilst we did not eat in the restaurant, room service food was very good even though we only had burgers and turkey club, it came with a yellow rose! We would definately recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to go back when we next visit New York. The Helmsley Park Lane contributed to a romantic and memorable stay.

“perfect NY venue”

A view of the park, an attentive staff, an excellent dining room, and close to shopping and MOMA. We had a wonderful stay, made all the better by a very well run, comfortable hotel.

“Excellent Location for peace and quiet in a big city”

I really like this hotel due to its excellent location close to the stores but still right on central park. Its a nice oasis of calm after the hustle and bustle of the big apple. In the morning its nice to join the cyclists, runners, joggers etc in Central Park for a light workout. I for one will certainly be back for a stay at The Helmsley Park Lane.
