“Good location but poor service”

Staff were not friendly. Lack of quality service and service without a smile. Long wait for check out with only 2 staff at the front desk during busy hours. The Curves is comfortable but service and food quality can be improved. Staff needs more training. They can make a big difference to help us feel welcome!!!

“Really great”

This hotel was very clean, comfortable and had very friendly staff. However, I noticed that it was quite noisy early in the morning and at night time. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others. :)

“Dirty ...needs cleaning and maintainance!”

The room was dirty, even the toilets in the lobby were disgusting! ....the shower so uncomfortable, the room after house keeping was a mess! wet towels on the bed, blankets on the floor, every day! The location is well but no worth it! I don't recommended this hotel!

“location great”

This was my second stay in this hotel. Last time was 5 years ago. Glad to say it is still in good condition following an upgrade in decoration. Bathroom was small but adequate although you need a ladder to get into the bath for your shower so not so handy for people with knee or hip problems! Location is really handy. We walked to everything. Staff were very helpful and friendly. It's not overly fancy but good value for money.

“Great hotel and very helpful staff”

Really enjoyed our stay here - very helpful staff and a stylish, very clean hotel. Had an unusual room with a mezzanine bedroom upstairs but with the bathroom downstairs. Great design concept but not all that practical day to day. The only other small negative was the price of parking - I thought a little excessive, but this is Melbourne. Other than that, I would certainly recommend this hotel to others and I would stay here again.

“Nice quiet hotel”

This was my favourite business hotel several years ago. Still a nice hotel well located near southern cross rail station but service and presentation not quite as good as earlier experiences. Would recommend hotel but would not recommend meals.

“Great Stay”

Had a great time here.Convenient to Station,grocery store ,trams,also easy walk to city shops,South Wharf shops and Crown Casino. Staff great and check in smooth,would not hesitate to stay again.

“Ultimate convenience”

Want a quaint hotel that is super convenient? Then stay at Vibe Savoy. Okay, so your first impression when you walk into the hotel is old, that is because it is, it is clearly heritage or something similar. Dont let that worry you, the rooms have a modern splash and are good. The most important part of this hotel is location for quick in and out stays via the airport. The hotel is opposite Southern Cross station, and from the airport you can get an express bus which leaves every ten minutes direct to southern cross without any stops, it will cost a small portion of the cab fare and each way that adds up to probably another nights stay. The hotel is also super close to the casino and etihad stadiums. Great place so convenient.

“Good value central melbourne”

This was the first time I Stayed at the Vibe Savoy.It is opposite the train station where the bus from the airport arrives.The room had all features required ,the hotel had an art deco styling and was very good value.For a good value low cost stay in Melbourne with style it would be difficult to beat

“Stayed at better places in Melbourne city”

I stayed here for 4 nights and was not very impressed. The location is close to trams but for walking it is quite far from CBD. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the bathroom was tiny (toilet on top of sink). Also, I got one meal from room service that was horrible - couldnt eat it! They forgot to replace our towels and toilet paper and when we called them they were rude. I have also stayed at other hotels in CBD and would recommend paying a bit more for a better location and better service.
