"Enjoyed staying at the Pacific Cairns. Five minute walk to the where the boats for the Islands depart and the day bus tours. Very central to eating places like the Night Markets. The bar fridge is a decent size and the bed and pillows very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you don’t have a car like was our case. The staff were friendly and helpful."

"Large rooms for the price, lots of power sockets. Maintenance is average however - both globes in one light fitting were faulty. The shower head leaked, and it was hard to keep shower water from splashing out of the tub. There is no hairdryer. (We found one that was broken but it had been left by a previous customer!) The reception staff were great, but reception opens late and closes early. Overall though, it was a good value stay!"
