Yangtze River Delta Golf Holidays

I recently had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai Hongqiao. The location is very convenient, rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast offers great choices. Special thanks to Spawn Li, whose service was truly outstanding. From check-in to every request, Spawn was warm, professional, and attentive. Spawn even wrote taxi directions in Chinese for me, which was incredibly helpful. This genuine care made my trip memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return. Thank you, Spawn Li, for your excellent hospitality and kindness! The gym and pool are also nice. I look forward to my next stay.

We absolutely loved at stay at Chateau Star, it was more then what we expected. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Staff were friendly and helped as much as they could given language barrier, really only had 1 staff member who spoke English which was great as we weren't proficient with the translation apps immediately. Rooms were clean and we were super comfortable. There were plenty of restaurants and cafes, along with sone corner stores a short walk away. We will definitely be staying there again.

I think the hotel is under reno but please avoid if possible

Great hotel, right in the center of everything, walking distance to big walking street with shops and restaurants. One thing we noticed, hotel staffs have 1 same tune trying to get every guest to upgrade their rooms with extra charges. They would start by saying: "your room is not ready, but we have a bigger room with free breakfast if you upgrade and pay 250+ yuan extra...". If you want to stick with your originally booking then just say NO.

The area has changed dramatically since Covid. Hotel is the same but restaurant has also changed dramatically and not what it once was.
