Lovely Bed and Breakfast
The B&B was in a great location in sun moon lake. The owner and her family were very friendly and helpful and gave excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was great. The owner also accommodated our personal request. If you are in the area I 100 percent recommend this hotel. Thanks for the stay

The owner was really friendly and nice. The place had a nice soothing decor. Would definitley stay here again. Location was right by the pier so was really convenient.

Nicely refreshed property with great amenities. Good entertainment options and the room Was spacious and clean. Nice homey morning breakfast made you feel welcome. Staff is friendly, though operating more like a Bed and Breakfast hours of service are limited. Would stay again.

Greeted by very friendly owner who checked us in and gave us ideas how to navigate around etc. It is so near the pier and within very near walking distance to 7-11 etc. The room was spanking clean, with modern design and was in good condition. There was breakfast provided for as well which gave us the local vibes cooking style, was wholesome and started our day well. Its a little gem with limited rooms but worth staying surely and if we do head back to sun moon lake, we'd love to stay here again.

we enjoyed this modern up to date stylish decorated and clean boutique. the owner Mr & mrs Wong are very friendly and helpful, so as the other staffs. Good breakfast and had enough choices. the only inconvenience - check in or check out before 6pm. have 2 choices of pillows which still not suitable for us- bit too high/firm.

We loved staying at Laurel Villa and would choose it again. It is decorated beautifully. The lady who checked us in helped us find the Giant bicycle rental place (a very short walk) so we could bike around the lake. She also told us about a vegetarian restaurant on her same street, where we had a wonderful dinner. Our room was small, but very cleverly laid out and decorated, so we felt spoiled! Breakfast the next morning was a typical Taiwanese breakfast with several vegetables and fruit options (plus congee) for us.

A beautiful well run B&B. Really lovely rooms, some say are small but we found plenty big enough for short stay around the lake. Would definitely come back.

Good Option for Sun Moon Lake Visit
One night stay option so as to visit Sun Moon Lake. In the centre of town, next to the ferry terminal and coach stop this B&B is a good option for travellers. The building is very modern with great design features. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was fine. My only negative was the room was small and for a longer stay this could have been problematic.

Very lovely stay...again after 9+years! The hosts are very friendly and the early biking tour by the owner is just wonderful, one of our key highlight for sun moon lake stay!

Plus points: 1. The hotel looks very new like a designer hotel. 2. Location is near almost everything. 3. Hotel provides discounted fares for the ferry, bicycle rental, etc which are really cheap compared to what the vendors charge. 4. Hotel has lift and travellers dont have to worry abt travelling with large luggages. Suggested improvements 1. More hanging hooks should be affixed in the bathroom. 2. Install electrical socket in the bathroom for the use of electric shaver and hair dryer. 3. Enhance the sound proofing of the walls for the rooms located on the 2nd floor as they are too near to the breakfast area at the ground floor and tend to be quite noisy in the morning when other guests are having breakfast.

My family had a superb Time at this hotel . If you plan a trip to sun moon lake and stay. This is a must book hotel. There are a lot of person touch(es) , like the hotel owner bringing you out for a morning bicycle tour and breakfast is light and fresh ! It has easy access to most places you need to visit there .I have no regrets booking this place.

great location right by the pier. the service was also very good. only con is the limited check in time 3-6pm. the rest was great stay. totally recommend this place if you are looking for a place in the area.

I had a great experience in Sun Moon Lake mostly thanks to this stylish hotel. The owner is super nice and organised cycling around the lake, although the weather is not good for sunrise but still a great short break in this beautiful town.
