We checked in and immediately noticed a damp/mouldy smell on the top floor. We had to leave shortly thereafter so didn’t report to reception on our way out. It also improved a little after circulating air with the air conditioner.
On our return later that night, the smell was much worse, but we were too tired to request another room. The smell was quite overpowering and we were unable to sleep without air conditioning circulating the air.
We mentioned this issue on check out. After a half hour, we had to return to your hotel as I had left something inside. Your receptionist kindly retrieved my forgotten item for me and commented on the strong mould smell. She apologised (again) for this inconvenience and advised that someone would contact me to discuss.
I’m disappointed that no one contacted me about this issue.
