"The Cottage was lovely in a beautiful setting on Lake Rosseau. I had told the host that we would be bringing a wake surf boat. He did tell me that the boathouse would be too shallow, but we could dock it at the end of their dock. The water was actually less than 3 feet deep at the end of the dock so we had to rent a slip at Minett. We experienced some disruptions during our three week stay. The host told me before our rental that we would be without power and water for one day because he was having a generator installed. Unfortunately, the installation took longer than we were told and we were without power and water for over 10 hours. We had a further disruption the following day when his gas fitters arrived early morning to connect the propane tank to the generator. We had a third disruption when the host contacted me midday to advise me that his property was for sale and that he wanted me to allow a showing because it was the only time possible that the perspective purchasers could see it. Needless to say, these disruptions affected our vacation. I tried to be very understanding and accommodating. I was disappointed with our hosts communications with me afterwards."

"Birthday Weekend with FamilyWe rented this island getaway for a birthday celebration with our adult children and grandkids . There are plenty of large open spaces both inside and outside for everyone to gather in or to escape from the crowd. The kitchen was well equipped and storage was well marked. There are plenty or water toys including canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. The rooms were clean and spacious and all had there own washroom. One pleasant surprise was that unlike other water properties we've been too, boaters respected the no wake speeds on the water and stayed clear of swimmers in the water.The family had a great time and would love to return next year."
