"Large and quiet room "

"The room was clean with a comfortable bed and a lockable door. It even had a fridge, a luxury absent from hotel rooms costing two or three times as much. The bathroom arrangements were unusual, with the loo in a tiny cupboard, and the basin and shower cubicle at the end of the bed. There was nowhere to hang a damp towel, and I was slightly unnerved by exposed wiring on a broken extractor fan switch just above the shower door. It's not the Ritz but I've stayed in worse places, and for £45 a night including parking a stone's throw from Windsor and Bray, you pay for what you get!"

"The refurbishment by the new owners is complete and has been very well done. We have stayed both before (comfy, convenient but run down) and after, this is our second time with the new owners. Now very comfortable and a pleasure to stay. Excellent location for Bray eateries and lovely spot on the river. Garden down to the river is particularly nice on a good day with nice outdoor seating. Perfect all round and well done the young staff."

"We were visiting Legoland and meeting friends and this was a good location. Turned out to be a great location and a great hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful on arrival and during our 2 night stay. Food was lovely , we had an evening meal and breakfast really good. Lovely hotel lots of amazing rooms to sit in. Bedroom was really nice with a view over the river which was stunning. The outside space was spectacular and we popped over to the 'River House' on the Sunday afternoon where there is a great 'Ibiza Vibe' going on - lovely sushi and pizza available and nice little bars - really buzzing but relaxing. My 9 year old and I loved the pool , so clean and the water was clear and not full of chlorine. Next time we would like to spend more time at the hotel relaxing and riding the complimentary bikes. All in all it is a stunning hotel with a relaxed feel about it. Would definitely recommend it. "
