Clean. Charm. Great location. Convenient. Great food. Excellent customer service. Premium.
Stunning hotel and room. Breakfast and staff both excellent. Only issues were the bed was not the most comfortable - found mattress really hard, but that could be personal preference; no dinner available on the evenings we were there - Sunday-Weds - and although we knew this in advance it did mean having to go back out for a meal every day and there was nothing within walking distance. Other than that, a very pleasant stay.
the hotel is a little jewel , beautifully decorated. Staff is extremely friendly. will recommend to put speaker in the room to listen to music and let you know that the restaurant in not open for dinner several days of the week
The decor was immaculate and really lovely
Our room and bed were gorgeous
Dinner was really so tasty .
Staff were all really helpful and polite.
Everything was great quality the towels and the bedding too.
Breakfast was the only thing i found odd being served fruit and cereal not being able to decide how much we wanted was annpying and the toast was cold which is a pet hate .
Id highly recommend this hotel and would return .
This is how hotels should be. It was absolutely esquisite. The finishings on the building was amazing and consistent throughout and was echoed by the quality at every angle, from the welcome, to food, to service, you name it. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere and a lovely place to be.
We stayed during a very quiet period out of holidaty season and were still made to feel very welcome, were always asked how we were, and were very aware that any member of staff would go above and beyond to help out.
Breakfast was very well done with a good choice and fresh ingredients and very well presented.
I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this place is the yardstick by which I will compare all my future stays, I really can't recommend enough

Staff, hotel, room and food was exceptional. Had a lovely stay. Will be back for sure.
This was a one night stay with dinner for two. Everything we might need was anticipated. The sushi was delicious and is highly recommended. The service was exceptional and we were made to feel very special. The room was well appointed and we had one o the best night’s sleep in a while. The Egyptian cotton sheets were heavenly. We will definitely be back.

Disappointed!… the hotel was pretty vacant and we only learned after the hotel was booked and non refundable that the restaurant was not open. The nearest restaurant was not within walking distance. The woman who checked us in was very nice but the other staff were not overly friendly or helpful. The hotel is also on a very busy road which was left out of the written description and photos….
Lovely surprise of a well priced clean, modern and very comfortable small hotel. Staff were very friendly, atmosphere was relaxed and the food was excellent. The restaurant dinner prices were very high for a non London hotel but the food was good quality.
This was our first stay at Hurley House and it won’t be our last, probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in and there have been very many especially in the Bucks and Berks area. Room was delightful, the food was brilliant and the staff excellent. Could not fault it.
Lovely decor and rooms, however the staff all seem very nervous and under strained. There are loads of staff, but none of them are really able to manage issues and tend to scurry around fun a panic. eg: we ordered granary toast. They came back and said they only do brown or white, so we choose brown. We then received one brown and one white. When we pointed it out, the waiter just got very nervous and didn't know what to do. Please train them!
We were so impressed when we stayed here last year that choosing to stay again this year was a pleasure. It is very rare to revisit a hotel and not notice small signs of wear and tear. The standard of maintenance is equal to the exceptional level of service that is so clearly the focus of Hurley House.
