"What a beautiful hotel! The location was fantastic, easy walking distance to Kyoto station and great restaurants and izakayas. The staff was exceptional and took our bags to our room so we could jet off on a tour we were running late for. My son enjoyed the onsen/public bath while I enjoyed the nice deep tub in the room. The breakfast buffet was seriously over the top with everything you could desire, including fresh baked bread and pastries to omelet bar, and every Japanese entre to try soft serve ice cream, espresso, etc"

"If we had known about this hotel earlier, we would have made it our main base in Kyoto. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to both bus and train lines, and plenty of dining options in the surrounding area. The hotel itself is excellent and clearly very popular. The onsen is superb—spanning multiple floors—and the property offers a number of thoughtful extras, including complimentary ramen from 9 to 11 p.m., which was a fun and welcome touch. Overall, we were truly glad to have stayed here. It’s a fantastic, well-located hotel that makes exploring Kyoto effortless."
