"The resort consists of spacious cottages right by the sea. Shallow water, at the end of the dilapidated jetty just deep enough to swim and snorkel. spacious cottages, unfortunately only cold water. "We went to Xcalak not really ,knowing what to expect…we arrived to the property and made ourselves at home…we walked around town and most looked at us like we were as new in town as we were..this only lasted a few days and then everyone greeted us with a friendly smile and a Hola wherever we went Xcalak is the town time forgot…it’s a place where relaxation can truly take place…we ate at most of the restaurants in the area and enjoyed every meal…nothing fancy just real food The house was fine...
