"Rooms are newly refurbished, and look good. Plenty of sockets and have aircon which works really well. But there are some glaring errors. No storage!!! Just a tiny rail with 4 hangars, and when I asked for more i was told they werent allowed to give me any. There is just one drawer in the desk - no shelves and no other storage. This was a double room, for 3 nights and basically, just 2 hangars each! No hooks for wet jackets etc. So I had coats on the back of the desk chair, and piled on top of my suitcase. Crazy. The shower is one of those awful over the head ones, so you cant avoid getting your hair wet. As a woman with longer hair, that is a total pain. And no hairdryers in the room!!! I dont want to appear sexist, but I'd put money on the fact these rooms were designed by a man - look good initially but dont work on a practical level. Lovely mirror to match the wood behind the tiny hanging area, same shape, obviously been thought about, but then so little storage. Large TV - great, but would rather have the more practical things like storage, hairdryer and shower that you can use without wettimg your hair!!!"

"Barely acceptable, is giving more praise than deserved. Bed had a huge dent in the sleep area. Toilets seat was broken, & had been for a while. Lifts none functioning. Room freezing, on what was the hottest day after the year. Actually pump iced chilled water thro radiators. Quilt thin. No food at hotel. Much building demolition. Zero sleep, & i mean zero, cold uncomfortable. T.V. had only one channel "Prime", because i logged into my ,own account. Hairdryer broken, mains leads jammed into broken junction box. What happened to the " relax" in our deep baths. One leaky mouldy shower! Not worth wasting more time on this review. 😡"

"The most dirtiest hotel I've ever seen! The carpets were covered by dirts and stains, moulds were everywhere on the corners of windows and room, toilet was not clean. I booked a room with a queen size bed and sofa bed. The hotel sent me a message askinge if I need the sofa bed with a note that if I dont respond within few hours, they will assume I dont need it. I dont understand why did ask such a question in thw first place as it was included as part of room booking and how 2 adults+2 kids could fit in a queen size bed alone!! The question was utterly annoying considering that we had already been travelling and had no time to check my messages. Upon arrival, the staffs were not welcoming at all. We stayed in many Novotel hotels in the UK and abroad in the past, but the recent one was very unpleasant. The hotel obviously is in desperate need of renovation and more importantly recruiting a new management team."

"Host was excellent and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and everything you could possibley want - we didn't have an evening meal but was advised that we would need to pre-order on the day of arrival due to ongoing redecoration works in the hotel. Plenty of parking to the rear of the hotel. Overall an excellent stay."

"The host experience was excellent, they were very helpful and we have no issue with the management company. When we arrived after travelling 12hrs with 2 small children and a baby the house had no heating or hot water on. We arrived at 10.30pm, the floors were all sticky and the smell of urine when we opened the front door was shocking and we didn’t expect that!We had to wash the floors so the children could play safely. Again not what we expected. The double bed had no mattress or pillow protectorsand was badly stained what looked like urine. The single bed in single room had a pile of hair laying on the bed from I’mAssuming a hairbrush or floor. We appreciate that most of the clients that rent the property will be workers and not families but everyone deserves to have a clean property and clean bed to sleep in. The property needs some maintenance work doing eg the ceilings are mouldy in the bathroom. "

"This was a great place to stay. Lots of room, great location, and very easy to manage. The only downside was that it was cold and the heaters never got it warm enough to be pleasant. Make sure you have a sweatshirt."
