"The room was clean and big. it feels new and the pub next door was decent. it was a great location to explore Bath, the Cotswalds, Stratford, Stonehenge, and Wells/Glastonbury. There were some staffing shortages that led to some hiccups, but that was situational and shouldn't be a problem moving forward."

"What lovely location. We were lucky enough to get a room with a beautiful ciew of the meadows and the cathedral which was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd like to use this hotel more often. "

"Arrived late Friday night to find we have been upgraded to an apartment accessed from the car park. Apartments are very nice with a cooker, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. The kitchen and bathroom welcome packs had everything needed for your first night if you have forgotten anything. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be there, but a welcome bag of ice in the freezer! Walk-in shower was a bonus equipped with separate Shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The bed was a nice size double and each room had separate air conditioning controls. Breakfast under the auspices of June was excellent, all credit to the Chef. Sunday seemed to be manic as a wedding party had stayed. June and her young helper worked their socks off as everything seemed to run out at the same time. Yet the kitchen produced even better food (to my liking) that day. Because of the central location in the city there was no need to move the car at all with everything in a short walking distance. See Cathedral and Giggling Squid reviews on trip advisor Now car parking is extra on first come basis and is open to the public. we paid £330 for 2 nights, 2 breakfasts and car parking, that seems to be the price for 1 night in the apartment. For the quality of the hotel, maybe a better quality of toilet paper, and Apartment 2 door slams hard. Sure we may have upset the neighbours. So if that's all I can bring up, you can trust us to return."

"Quite a big parking area, just surprised there was only one disabled space tho. Room as you would expect from a very old building. There was a lift to the 2nd door where our room was. Room was on the small side, not sure the bed was a double more like a 3/4 bed. Good shower although "

"We had a nice room. Comfy bed and plenty of choice for breakfast. Welcoming staff and hotel. Treatment from spa and pool and steam room were relaxing. Not far from many places to visit. Went into town too. "

"We didn't take breakfast on this occasion but we've stayed many times and keep going back. I wonder why?!"

"Staffs were very friendly and polite. Ask for anything and it will arrive in minutes! The ground is absolutely beautiful and you can take a stroll to relax anywhere. Highly recommended. Just a note that the wifi is not the best and can use some upgrades."
