"Overall we enjoyed our stay, with our 2 young children. Apartment was larger then excepted, with a full kitchen, dinning room, lounge and laundry. Apartment is in need of some minor repairs and feels dated and needing of a revamp. Pool over looking the golf was great Free onsite undercover parking included in our booking was a bonus If we are staying in the area again we would look to book here again "

"We had such a terrible stay that we left early, forfeiting the money we paid. The place was so overcrowded, with a cruise ship parked out front. Our hotel room had black mold in it and construction fencing and vehicles partially blocked our view of the beach. The walls were paper thin and we were kept up late and woken early by the sounds of other families talking (they weren't even being inconsiderate, the rooms were just so badly soundproofed). The layout of the resort was baffling, with glass perimeter fencing around lawns and cafes to prevent people from freely walking around. My four-year-old asked if we were at the airport when we were in the resort's main building, which gives you a sense of the design. The worst part was the food, which was borderline inedible. Everything was pre-packaged, deep fried in old oil, cooked from frozen (or all of the above). The prices were higher than a nice restaurant but the quality was worse than a service station. I realise this is an island and food needs to be brought in, but I have travelled to far more remote areas with nice things to eat, and the food here was inexcusable. This was the main reason we left, because there was literally nowhere to get a decent meal. The staff were very nice, but obviously it was beyond their power to fix this place. The whole experience was extremely upsetting considering we spent good money to come here. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!"

"Overall this place is pretty great for a family vacation. I have teen/tween children and they did enjoy the waterpark but the pool was the favourite. The buffet breakfast was an excellent spread with a huge amount of choices. The apartments are big & spacious, have a lift to upper levels, showers are big and hot water with great pressure. Kitchenette is great with a small stovetop in one room, fridge (one large, one small), dishwasher, and even a coffee machine and pods and milk, etc provided, There’s a washer and dryer in a separate small room. And rooms were thick walled, did not hear neighbouring patrons. I rate this lower though because of a few things - readers may like to know that a dual key room has a one king, one queen. I called reception for another bed but it was badly broken and could not be slept on. They said they did not have another being unaware that I had 3 teens - the hotel expects that 3 people will sleep in a king, 2 in the queen!! They then proceeded to blame me for not booking direct with the hotel, as they get no communication from 3rd party booking. Well that’s on them to fix that problem, it’s on them to find a working roll away bed, not me. Another star lost was for general things hotel can fix in future - shower floods the bathroom, carpets are stained and could do with replacing or a deep clean, pool should be felines/tiled as it cut all of my families feet badly as it’s lined with sharp little stones throughout, there are no power points next to"

"YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Booked this place as part of our trip through Queensland, it looked ideal as we don't enjoy the beach so much & with what looked like a nice pool & BBQ area our decision was straight forward. As we arrived there was a notice advising pool & BBQ area closure due to required upgrades (see image) however we was delighted to find this had not started yet. We shopped for BBQ food ready for the following evening but sadly never got the chance to enjoy. The next morning 7.30am we was awakened to drilling & hammering noises along with pool/bbq area closure which was disappointing to say the least. At this point I wouldn't have left a bad review even though we wouldn't have booked the property knowing there was even a chance of closure, what really got me angry was the property manager LIED!!! The images attached show the facts & you can decide this for yourself. Hotels.com apologised for the property not caring a dam about us, all we wanted was the property to apologise although Hotels.com requested a refund, this was never our request. THE POOL & BBQ COULD REMAIN CLOSED FOR SOME TIME & YOU WILL ONLY KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE!!!."
