The village is alongside the River Esk, where leaping salmon can be spotted along with other wildlife.

Situated next to the friendly village pub, Salmon Leap Cottage 2 offers outdoor seating on a shared patio, perfect for relaxing in the fresh countryside air. The cottage provides convenient parking, with both a free car park and free on-street parking available.

A couple of steps lead up to the front door, welcoming you into the cosy living area, furnished with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, and a TV. The modern kitchen is well-equipped, and the adjoining dining area is perfect for family meals. Upstairs, there are two inviting bedrooms, one spacious double and a triple room with three single beds, making it perfect for families. Both rooms feature wardrobes and drawers for all your belongings, and each has its own en-suite shower room for added comfort and privacy.

Lovely spacious cottage

Lovely new cottage right by the train station. It is close to Whitby which was perfect for us as we were there for the goth festival. The bakery up the road is well worth a visit too
