"We booked Domescapes on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. Hands down one of the best experiences of the trip. The hospitality courtesy of the fine folks running Swinging Gate, was absolutely incredible. We love, love, loved their wines, we not only partook in the tasting but found ourselves at the Cellar door nightly before close for a glass or bottle to share. Sleeping, bathing, and just relaxing under the stars is an experience I won't forget any time soon."

"Rating: (3/5)We recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, would not choose to return.Cleanliness: (2/5)The cleanliness was disappointing. We discovered dirty, unwashed dishes left in the oven, which we had to clean ourselves before using. The biggest let down was the bathroom – during our entire two-day stay, the shower drainage was completely blocked. Black dirt was backing up from the drain, making it unusable and frankly quite disgusting.Location: (5/5)The location, however, was fantastic. The property offers a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the sea from both the deck and the master bedroom, which we truly enjoyed.Amenities: (5/5)The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. Every room had its own heater, and we especially appreciated the portable gas heater which made sitting on the deck warm and comfortable.House Layout: (3/5)The house layout was a bit awkward. While advertised as a 4-bedroom home, you had to walk through one bedroom to access another, which compromised privacy.Overall:While the location and amenities were excellent, the poor cleanliness made the stay less enjoyable. With better maintenance, this could have been a great experience – but sadly, we won’t be returning."

"It’s unique. It’s rare. It’s a beautifully done up caravan called ‘Frankie’ next to an historic church. The ambience of our visit was different … very different and yet for all of it’s surprises, it was cosy. For its uniqueness and difference, I will be back. Bernie K "
