"The property is located in an absolutely stunning area of Leura, and is quite beautifully laid out, with garden, privacy screen and personal car park space, provided. The premises were very clean, and laid in with all the homely touches at hand. Clean towels, provided if needed. One of the best beds I’ve slept on, windows looking out on a wall of greenery. "This is a well-appointed, stylish, comfortable and extravagantly spacious residence with two complete bathrooms and a full kitchen. The property is in very good condition and the generous array of faux-period furnishings are both tasteful and comfortable. Everything expected was there and it mostly worked as expected – see below for what didn’t. The two king beds were comfortable, the linens crisp and clean and we are all able to find a satisfactory pillow. The bathrooms are commodious, well...

"The property was not clean - needs a good deep clean as it was not good enough for a holiday rental. The basin in the bathroom was not draining - my husband pulled this apart and it was clogged with hair (yuck)! The double bed mattress was rock hard and had a sleepless night and sore hips. We went and bought a mattress topper the next day so we could sleep. There is not enough comfortable seating for 4 people (1 x 2seater lounge only). The TV is impossible to use. There was an awful smell on...

Valley of the Waters B&B

Ken

A spacious living room with a grand piano, two red armchairs, a coffee table with a vase of flowers, and a large arched window providing a view of the outdoors.

Silvermere

Wentworth Falls

10/10 Excellent

Our one night stay at Silvermere exceeded our expectations, the photos on the website did not do the beauty of this B&B any justice. My family of 4 stayed in the Maids Quarters which was warm, cosy, comfortable and so clean - the bed linen was divine. The owners were highly service oriented, offering some great ideas on what to see and do, they served up a quality breakfast overlooking the beautiful gardens. We would stay here again!

Kurrara Historic Guest House

Katoomba

10/10 Excellent

Kurrara is a beautiful 1902 house, furnished in the style of the period and settled in a well maintained mountains garden. The rooms are pleasant, the dining room charming and lounge, which is pictured, is a cosy place to read, chat or watch television. It is an easy walk to Echo Point, with its views of the Three Sisters and the valley, and the walks which start there and in the opposite direction to Katoomba village, with its range of places to browse and dine. Last of my likes, but by no...

The Carrington Hotel

Katoomba

10/10 Excellent

The Carrington retains a wonderful old world charm with its Grand Dining room and Art Decor theme. Norman Lindsay pictures are everywhere. It retains some delightful old style features like a rickety lift, yet we still enjoyed a spa in our room after a hard day bushwalking which was just perfect. Had a game of snooker on a full sized billiard table in a delightful lounge area. Didn't even have to brave the cold outdoors at night as we we were able to dine in the lovely old dining room with...

YHA Blue Mountains Katoomba

Katoomba

10/10 Excellent

We’ve never used a YHA before and thought at 79 we were probably way too old to start. However we were completely wrong it was perfect for our needs, quiet despite having 2 large groups of school children and the staff apologetic for the noise which we only heard when they were arriving at a reasonable time Right next door to an Aldi and on the main street of Katoomba it could not be more convenient. Our ensuite double was clean and comfortable and fully equipped.

Echoes Boutique Hotel and Restaurant

Katoomba

10/10 Excellent

Beautiful hotel, rooms perfectly presented and sensational views - would thoroughly recommend to anyone. Negatives minor but for inf purposes - room was very small with no tables or anything to put anything on, almost no room for luggage either really, and breakfast very expensive, which is a bit of a shame - as we try and stay at all the best hotels of the world, but this breakfast price was just higher than we had ever seen and we couldn't justify or support it - so spoiled our experience a...

10/10 Excellent

I needed a convenient place to stay the night before surgery at Nepean Hospital. The young man on reception was genuinely helpful, kind and friendly. The apartment has all the facilities needed for a much longer stay - laundry appliances, full kitchen, dining tables on balcony and inside, comfortable lounge, bedroom, ensuite, large built in wardrobe, big shower head. Everything clean and pleasant. With the convenient location comes a bit of noise - during the early evening a bit of speed bump...
