All the staff are friendly and helpful but have their work cut out for them in a tired hotel past its best. There are signs of half-completed basic renovations and worn, tired carpets. "This hotel has a nearly five hundred year history that is lovingly preserved by its friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Centrally located in Glastonbury, it is a cosy community space frequented by locals and pilgrims alike. The hotel is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink in its bar or spend the night in one of its comfortable rooms. As to whether it is haunted, well, stay the night and find out for yourself. Either way, It is a genuine pleasure."

"Difficult to find in the dark Beds uncomfortable with small rooms, nowhere to open a case No instructions for boiler or hot water. When we did work out the boiler, only 2 of us had a shower because the water was too hot and dangerous, we couldn’t get it any colder the temperature control in the shower did nothing. The bathroom was musty and grimy and like a caravan size pod. "
