"Not the cleanest room but staff was able to let us check in early which was nice. Wouldn’t pay extra for a window unless you choose the room bc we got a view of the building next door. Ac shuts off when you leave so every time you get back the room is hot and stuffy"

"Very clean room! We were in a triple premium with a queen on the bottom and twin on the top bunk. While it was definitely tight, it was extremely clean and comfortable. Good location to Farringdon station with plenty of restaurants and cafes in walking distance. Great air conditioning which was nice with the high temperatures."

"The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. I was checked in early, which was nice so the girl was very professional and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of tea, coffee, decaffeinated coffee and herbal tea bags in the room. The hotel is in a good location to get anywhere in London- and nice and near areas like Exmouth Market which is lovely for great restaurants and lovely cafes. The breakfast choices were good, but we had to wait a long time for the hot breakfast to be replenished when they ran out. Not great if you are in a hurry! But the quality was good (I would have liked some mushrooms too but I can forgive that!) Lovely fresh water melon and the coffee was surprisingly good too! Overall this was the second time I stayed at this hotel and would stay again! Would recommend."

"We took a king-bed high-floor room, which was very nice, with a perfect view of the Tower of London. The room was what you’d expect from the Citizen M chain - white, bright, sleek, modern, everything controlled through a tablet. I’ve stayed at another one before so knew what to expect. The bed was super comfy, linens crisp, big fluffy towels, the mood lighting is fun. The downsides however are that the lights are operated through the tablet so you need 2 taps at least to get a light on to go to the loo in the middle of the night. There are also no glasses or cups - so nothing to put your toothbrush in or fill up for some water. Crucially, there are also not enough powerpoints (only 2 in the room for the 3-point UK plug) which does not fit in with the super-modern, tech-friendly vibe of the hotel and room. The lack of glasses is astounding given this would take up no space and would not make the place look cluttered. We sorely missed the kettle and free tea and coffee. If you’re here for more than one night and also sharing the room, these are the things you will miss that would make the stay far comfier and perhaps return. The shower/toilet room was fine but I think starting to look tired (hard to keep white floors pristine). On the whole, I love the concept of Citizen M but, after so many years in operation, maybe it’s time for a few tweaks (responding to the feedback of their guests perhaps?) to improve the entire experience and stay ahead of competitors."

"Really good climate control in the rooms. All rooms are set to 22 degrees Celsius. However, you can adjust that up or down by 3 degrees in either direction. The rooms are all studios so they're spacious with nice views. The beds are super comfy, the lobby area is very inviting with comfy couches, a bar area and a cafe/lounge area. This is my second stay and I would definitely stay again. Love this place."
