"Street noise (room facing Lamar) was very loud. I guess that’s why ear plugs were set on both nightstands. This is dangerous as a guest sleeping with ear plugs may not hear a fire alarm soon enough to escape safely."

"In a great location! It’s clean and very spacious, it seems like a busy hotel. Only downside to me was parking but even that wasn’t horrible, it was doable just seemed tight with big cars"

"We had a great stay for 3 nights here. We checked in late and appreciated the front desk taking care of us. We really enjoyed the room we had on a corner, 5th floor- yes, you could hear music and noise on the weekend, but IT"S AUSTIN, we were fine with it and mostly out enjoying the city anyway. Good location in terms of walkability to some great spots around us. The pool area was very pretty, we wished there was a hot tub. We had a drink and snack up on the top floor and the view and vibes were nice, the bartender made a good martini. The parking is valet only which was a bit of an ordeal just to wait for someone to get to you, then get your car- they never sent us the text to be able to pre-get our vehicle when we needed it though we brought it up several times. They were very nice about it all. Overall we would recommend and could see staying here again on a future visit to Austin."

"I think the rooms could use a refresh, and it was pretty noisy. There was fire alarm testing randomly from 8-5 Monday and Tuesday. And one of the mornings housekeeping vacuumed the hall at a little before 8 am, and hit our door which startled us. We were on 6 am California time, so we were hoping to sleep in. Also, the only parking is valet and it’s $64 per night. When I was dropping the car off one evening, the valet looked at me kinda expectantly, and I said “the key is still in it. Is there anything else?” And he said, a tip maybe. Then haha, just kidding. I told him we tip when we pick up the car."
