"A great hotel with views of Vesuvius. Staff were first class. Good sized room. All spotlessly clean. Huge grounds in which to walk or relax. Pool with loungers & towels supplied plus the poolside bar. On site parking with buggies available to bring luggage to or from your car. Also courtesy bus from the nearest station (free) or the airport (chargeable). Good breakfast buffet. We didn't try the restaurant. Good location for visiting Pompeii or Herculaneum. "

"What a wonderful place to stay! Comfortable room, fully-equipped, air con and a great shower. Lovely old building with high ceilings. Quiet. Fabulous and abundant breakfast of delicious crostate, cakes and filled croissants. Lovely conversation with the owner. Next time I come to Naples I will definitely stay here."

"I didn't stay ! After arriving and having the owner yelling at me and then yelling at Hotels.com rep. And feeling very unsafe, threatened, scared and locked in!! I left in absolute Tears. Even a man sitting on the bench out front says the owner is horriblen yelling all the time. Don't go here unless you're ready to battle.!!"

"Hotel was a bit out of the centre in the industrial working area so the surrounding area was quite dirty… full of rubbish in the streets but as soon as you were in the centre (which was about a 40 minute walk) it had the lively Italian vibe
Hotel was clean and tidy… the description is wrong though as it’s the hotel opposite that has the lounge area, outdoor seating and bar
Breakfast was very good with plants of variety to eat "
"This was the perfect base for our short stay in Naples. Super convenient from the train station with plenty of food options nearby. We particularly loved the rooftop terrace which gave us a fantastic view over the city. We were also especially impressed with the service, the person on reception for most of our stay (I think his name was Francesco) was extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very comfortable and well fitted. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay here again. "
"The hotel is situated in a tranquil location, through a covered archway and away from the bustling streets of Portici. Here you have the most amazing view of the gulf of Naples. The hotel is stylish and modern with beautiful furnishings in the rooms and public areas. The staff are all friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are quiet and well appointed with a good rain shower and comfortable bed. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space as well. Wi Fi in the hotel is complimentary and generally good. The restaurant is full a la carte and there is also a sushi tasting menu. The bar offers a good selection of snacks and small plates. All the choices are good sized portions. Breakfast is served 07:00-10:30, offering a buffet style selection including hot and cold food.
The only negative is that there is nothing close by; no restaurants or bars within walking distance of the hotel, so you are very limited on choice. Having said that we ate in the hotel and the food was top quality, well presented and good value. A nice touch was the shuttle they offer to and from Herculaneum. We also used this for our airport transfer. Regarding other sightseeing, they offer excursions through a local company that collect and return you directly to the hotel. There is also a train station ten minutes walk away, with trains running every 30 minutes to Napoli Centrale and beyond.
We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend."
