"We loved this hotel! We booked this without knowing how beautiful the property is. The staff are friendly and everything was sparking clean! There is no free shuttle to the airport but they help schedule taxis. The free shuttle takes you to the bus station in the central area - great shopping and food! Definitely recommend!"

"Very rustic hotel with historic architecture and feel. It has a strange mix of modern and historic furniture in some rooms that is a bit confusing but the historic areas are wonderful even if a little “run down”. The stairs to the hotel are a little struggle and the entry process is a little tricky as the hotel is only a part of the overall historic building. Good breakfast. Staff were really great. No night time staff, but not really needed. For the price we paid we were pretty satisfied."

"When we arrived the gentleman on reception was very helpful and very friendly. Excellent location for exploring Herculaneum, probably cannot be beaten for this. It was easy to find from the train station and had lots of restaurants nearby. I would recommend Ruins to couples and family’s travelling in the area."
