"To update my past reviews, The Red Lion Inn continues to be our “go to” when in Victoria, BC. It is a great hotel…. attractive decor, excellent Chinese restaurant, close to Uptown Centre, 7 minutes from downtown by car, comfortable rooms with kitchenettes, very comfy — what’s not to like!"

" The parking lot was not explained to me well when i checked in . You need to know that each level has a separate entrance to avoid jams and frustration. We stayed over spring break so lots of kids and clumps of hair in the pool . The room was nice and clean . "

"We like this hotel and have stayed there previously. This time a couple of things were a little bothersome. The first night we had one hand towel but there were 2 of all the other types. No problem. Asked and it was taken care of right away. Next day. Same thing. On the second day there was still hair on the bathroom floor from the previous day. The first night the bed did not have a light blanket on top. We made the room warmer so no problem. The next night there was a coloured lightweight blanket. So was that lightweight blanket just not put there the first night? Otherwise we did enjoy the stay."

"By far the cleanest hotel we’ve ever been to-it was spotless! Everything was wonderful. The room we stayed in ( 2 bed with a sofa bed ) was updated with modern furnishings and decor, and very comfortable. The coffee station was well stocked with everything you need, cupboards had everything needed, once again, everything was super clean. The shower was amazing with lots of water pressure. The beds were very comfortable! The sofa bed mattress was not, so one of us just slept on the couch instead. Pool amenities were pretty good, water pretty warm. I didn’t get to try the hot tub as it was very small and always packed with people. The change room had a very nice hot shower however so I warmed up in there instead. Great stay and I’m sure we will be back! "

"From the welcoming and helpful staff during check-in to using the mineral pools to the dining staff, our stay was a 10/10. A wonderful resort with excellent amenities and great eating options at The Snug pub and Faro pizza, not to mention the room overlooking the pools, this was an amazing place to stay."

"The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy and when our flight was delayed they let us stay late and helped us get a taxi to the airport. Excellent location within walking distance to China Town, take out food, dining and shopping. Great place to stay and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Victoria!"
