The staff was very personable. They changed our room at check in to one further away from the bar as they had loud live music that night, which we appreciated! Most areas were nicely renovated including our room. My only feedback was that the box spring of our bed was very squeaky and some areas of the hotel had a bad odour.

Awful place. Not a family friendly place due to location. Staff is the reason for the 1 star. I dont have crazy high standards, just common decency, judge from what you know not what you think and treat people how you want to be treated.

Didn't eat at the hotel or attached restaurant, but the hotel was clean, the staff was welcoming and quick to help & the location was only about a 20-30 minute walk from downtown. Would definitely stay again when im visiting Victoria!
