"This is an older property California style which was lovely. Our room was sparkling clean and had a large balcony we enjoyed. The property grounds were really well maintained and lovely. During the week it is a continental breakfast with mini waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and toast/bagels. Plenty to start your day. I believe there is a hot breakfast on weekends. The hotel is so convenient to downtown Ventura and easy walk to the beach. Great location and will definitely stay there when we visit Ventura again."

"I don’t expect much from a motel but Ventura Beach Motel 6 was more than good enough for my one night stay. Clean room, free WiFi, working quiet a/c and fridge. No pet fee! Rooms have clearly been refurbished. Snacks, ice, washer/dryer, microwave etc adjacent to lobby. Real grass to walk my dogs and very friendly staff. Also it’s walking distance to beach (though not the best part of town, so I probably wouldn’t walk off the premises at night). After a lousy stay in a dirty La Quinta (South Bakersfield) last month, this Motel 6 felt like a luxury and had best rates in the area by far."
