Search Venn Ottery hotels

The best time to visit Venn Ottery is during the late spring and summer months, from May to September, when the weather is generally at its finest for enjoying the outdoors.

During these months, you'll experience longer daylight hours and milder temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is superb for those who enjoy walking, cycling, or simply taking in the scenic countryside around the village.

Couples looking for a relaxing getaway will find May, June, and September particularly appealing. The crowds are typically smaller than in the peak summer months of July and August, allowing for a more peaceful experience at local attractions and eateries. The gardens are in full bloom, and the surrounding fields are lush, offering a picturesque backdrop for strolls.

Families travelling with children might prefer July and August, as this coincides with school holidays and offers the warmest weather for activities.
