Clean, spacious new hotel in a great location. Easy walk to Old Town. Will be staying again.

Friendliness of staff and modern clean rooms

The service was great the breakfast was good . The reception girl Ho ey was very well and gave nice service

We stayed only one night at Proverb Hotel Hanoi and it was a very lovely experience. The location is convenient, right in the middle of the Old Quarter and very walkable from most areas. The staff were lovely and the view from breakfast and the bar were great. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but there were some families enjoying the facilities when we went to go have a look. The staff were helpful and very happy to hold our luggage as our flight was later in the day. Everything was...

Every guess receives an amazing welcome from the moment they enter the hotel. Thae staff are so helpful and kind. My room was spacious well furnished and importantly quiet! The hotel location was close to everything I wanted to see and do. I would definitely book this hotel without hesitation. A+

Amazing and great staff

From the moment you enter this wonderful hotel, the staff cannot do enough for you. This hotel has great character and atmosphere. The staff absolutely love their jobs and it shows. You will definately not be missed by the staff, they greet and know everyone by name, always with a smile. The rooms are really spacious, and no noise can be heard from the street, however my only concern was the shower was over the bath, so if this is a bother you might like to mention this on check in. The hotel is...

This boutique hotel is in a great location. Staff are all so helpful and welcoming. Happy hour (2 for 1 drinks) in the evening at the rooftop bar was definitely a bonus. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of local dishes and western options. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here as a family of five. The staff were absolutely amazing, constantly going out of their way to be helpful and friendly. We were initially quite overwhelmed when we arrived as the reception area was very full and busy - if you experience this, please don’t let it deter you, this hotel is fabulous. We have stayed at many hotels during our 4 weeks in Vietnam and we all agree that Solaria had the best breakfast! Our bed was very hard, but as soon as we spoke to reception a topper was...

Location is perfect walking distance to all the places, we got upgraded during our stay for a minimal fee which was greatly appreciated. Staff are amazing very attentive and helpful. Nice pool if you wish to relax after a long day. Good spread of buffet breakfast (even for vegetarian). Well done guys keep it up..

Our stay here was great for the two of us. The room was clean, spacious .. the location was fantastic! The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and had great choices. We booked a room with city views and a balcony - this was really not what we expected and the only let down. The place needs a bit of maintenance but has a lift and provides everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Amazing hotel. The staff were quite exceptional, especially Ms Lee who was our personal concierge for our stay! Would highly recommend this hotel for its quality, value for money and attentive service.

The property was clean, comfortable, and located in a great central location, close to the markets and other attractions in the Old Quarter. Judy was fantastic—she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. I would happily recommend this property to others.

I chose this hotel because of its location and previous reviews. They were right! This place is magnificent. Great location near the lake and old quarter. The room 801,is on top and has a nice balcony and city view. The breakfast is individually cooked for you from a wide selection menu they provide. The staff are amazing- I wrote to them to arrange a pickup from the airport and received a quick reply, the transfer was very reasonable. The tours they arranged were also excellent value and the...

This was the second time I had stayed at the delightful Essence Hotel & Spa & I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hanoi. We were greeted by the manager (Jack) & he chatted to us while we had a complimentary cold drink & our luggage was delivered to our rooms. The hotel has expended since I was there 6 years ago, as has the restaurant. The rooms were lovely & clean & the staff as friendly & accomodating as ever. The Essence restaurant is excellent. If I am ever back in Hanoi,...
