"If you want to experience a more home like setting with welcoming host away from all the tourist this is the place for you! Beautiful farmhouse only 30 minutes outside of Florence. Home prepared meals with local or home grown produce on fine antique china. Overlooks mountains and Vineyards. Host cater to your preferences and very knowledgeable about area. "I cannot say enough great things about Viesca Toscana. We were only there for four days but I wish we had spent our entire trip here. The photos don’t do the grounds or property justice. It’s absolutely beautiful. The staff were so helpful and always went above and beyond. I can’t wait to come back with my whole extended family and stay in one of their villas. "Place definitely had better times in terms of exterior looking, bedroom was ok ish in terms of size. really tiny shower, wifi stopped working through the night. breakfast was ok for a one night stop (cold cuts, vienosserie, boiled eggs, fruits, cake, cereal). possibility to safely store bicycle inside. Osteria next door is life saving for excellent food. the place is next to a very busy road, expect this when opening the window "

"We visited four very different parts of Italy and our stay at Fattoria Lavacchio may have been our favorite. One important thing to know that was a little tricky to figure out was that you check-in at “Casabella”. The property belonging to Fattoria Lavacchio includes multiple buildings spread along 1km or so of the road. Our room ended up being an apartment about 300m from Casabella (the building in the pictures here with the pool). There was not traditional a/c but we didn’t need it with the fans and air coolers they provided. We also loved sleeping with the windows wide open and no need for screens because no bugs!! Even in the hottest part of the summer!! We love star gazing at night, cooking class overlooking the winery, horseback riding, and dinner on the patio by the pool. We also enjoyed the breakfast with fresh juices and jams made there at Fattoria Lavacchio. They also make their own olive oil. We felt very relaxed and refreshed after our visit there. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

"Gorgeous place, amazing views. They overbooked dinner and we had a wait of 2 hours for our food to come out. Pool was amazing and there was two to choose from, one looked quieter. Main part of the building is 15th century, which was beautiful. Easy to find with google maps NOT Apple Maps. Plenty of parking."

"Our stay at Rignano sull'Arno was absolute perfection! This gorgeous, spacious old villa was the dream setting for our family vacation. We brought a group of 15—ranging from 2.5 to 84 years old—and the property had something to make everyone happy. The rooms are incredibly large and filled with beautiful antiques that perfectly match the era of the home. The grounds are simply magnificent, with perfect photo ops around every corner! For the cooks in our family, the kitchen was a dream, fully equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. We absolutely loved using the outdoor pizza oven and dining alfresco on the patio. The pool was huge, refreshing, and a total delight for swimmers, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Paolo even arranged a private chef to cook for us one night, making it an unforgettable evening."
