When I knew our road trip was going to involve an overnight at Kempsey, I had no second guesses as to where to book accommodation. We've stayed at the Moon River Motor Inn before and we'll keep coming back! The restaurant meals are amazing (5* rating!!), the beds are dreamy, accommodation just what we needed, and the staff super friendly. What more can you want?

Just had a quick stopover on our way back to Sydney. Leo and Janelle (sorry about spelling!) were absolutely wonderful hosts. A must do is to have a glass of bubbles in the amazing spa overlooking the river at sunset - dolphins may be an added bonus!
The breakfast is amazing - you will not need to eat again all day!
Will not be disappointed :)

We stayed overnight while travelling up the coast. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast and the food was delicious and generous. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

We booked a one bedroom apartment for the two of us for a last minute getaway. The apartment was new, stylish, spacious and extremely clean. The lady who greeted us at reception was professional, very welcoming and helpful. The Mantra is really well located being in the center of town, but surprisingly quiet at night.

The girls on Reception were very helpful, also very polite. The room was adequate for an overnight stay and quite comfortable. I would certainly stay over again.

Stayed 3 nights, room was serviced daily and fresh towels provided. Good extras like toaster, microwave oven and coffee machine to allow basic cooking especially for breakfast. Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach, local shops and the Country Club. Quiet location, comfortable bed - perfect!
