"The staff!!! Absolutely amazing. I had booked the wrong night on a non-refundable price, I called them, there was no problem switching it but they would have a higher room charge (consistent with best prices online). We arrived and they said they wouldn't charge the extra as they dropped the price for the night. They did not have to do that so you know they are genuine good guys. A gentleman who was working there (maybe the guy who co-owns it?) also offered to help me with our luggage back out to the car, it was clear it was a genuine offer. When we left we had the key in a pocket and didn't realise we hadn't dropped it in the box. I got home, express posted it back and they were really polite and sent a nice email to say they received it. Room was clean, neat, all consumables as expected. The bathroom had been renovated so is high quality, not like a motel at all. The room was soacious for two people and would have been enough for 3. Lots of space to place items and suitcases so nothing feels cramped and you have easy access to everything. Short walk to takeaway. And parking onsite. 100% I would stay there again when driving from Sydney to Queensland."
