"The carpet in the room was filthy and when we got into bed the dirt from the carpet made the sheets dirty with grit from the floor after having walked straight from the shower to the bed. We were warned whilst checking in that we had to keep the bathroom door closed so no steam would get out into the room which causes activation of the smoke alarm and automatically calls the fire brigade. If this happens you are charged $1800 for the call-out!!"
