"The property is very nice and tastefully renovated for an older building. The location is beyond compare and puts most of the old city, university District, and the castle within an easy walking distance. The real standout was one of the Front Desk people… Philip… Who was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and really as good as it gets. Oh, and one other thing, watch out for the photo radar in and around the hotel when the speed limit suddenly changes from 50 to 30 km an hour. It happens quickly and without warning and boom you will have a ticket."

"The hotel was perfect, right where you want to be! Easy walk to all shops, restaurants and of course the Heidelberg Castle. The hotel breakfast was great. Our room was clean and even though we didn’t have air, we opened the windows and got a nice breeze!"

"Great location. Room is nice. Due to the hotel being a historic building there is no air conditioning so the room is very warm on hot days. There is no parking or drop off area so be prepared to walk with luggage on cobbled streets from the parkade."

"We had a room facing away from the street so it was very quiet. Great location to walk to everything. It’s in a pedestrian zone so if you have a car you need to park in a parking garage about a 5 minute walk over cobblestones so take that into account if you have luggage. (15 euro per day after their discount.) They do have a small elevator."
