The hotel was very clean and modern. Our room was spacious with a great shower, lots of outlets, a mini fridge and a tv with a chrome cast. The hotel provided a free transit day pass as well which was great because it is located right by the bus/train station.

Excellent hotel just a short walk from Heidelberg's main train station. The convenient electronic check-in process made arrival a breeze. The rooms were impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

Don't like the online and self-checkin, it lacks any kind of personal welcome. Bar was closed when we returned to hotel.at 8pm despite signage saying it closes at midnight on Saturdays. I was directed to a vending machine instead. Rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable A guest from the neighbouring room entered our room through the interconnecting doors during the night - doors weren't locked, this is a massive security oversight! Noise from railway station announcements and TV from room next door could be heard. The Sunday breakfast was well stocked and tended. The Monday breakfast ran short of several items.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and area is very walkable. Didn't interact much with staff, as I did a self check-in/out. Rooms a nice and very clean. Housekeeping is only by request, which I didn't mind. Didn't use the amenities. For the price and location, I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

Great option in Heidelberg

I had to plan a last minute trip to Heidelberg and found the Intercity hotel directly at the train station. Brand new, incredible bed, super-clean and with a friendly and approachable staff! Convenient whether you are on holiday and plan visiting the tourist areas, or if you have to do something else.

Great Place to stay- Great People-No Coffee

I stayed for only two nights, and it was very comfortable and clean. The only downfall was breakfast was not included or coffee, and asked for an extra charge! Why not include breakfast or even just coffee only-- there's no choice given.

A bit pricey for the amenities and the location as it’s a bit far from the city landmarks. Available parking is a plus although there weren’t enough slots at times. No room service available and not many vegan options in the breakfast (besides olives and hummus).

The station is about as close as you can get to the train station (next to the bus station too) and overlooks the platforms. Good soundproofing means that you are not disturbed by the almost continuous multi-language station announcements. One downside is the cost of breakfast which, at 19 Euros, is ridiculously expensive, especially if you just need a snack to start the day. Fortunately the station itself provides many food and drink options so you won't starve!

Everything was really great when we arrived, clean, comfortable, air-conditioning was working great and the room was cool. However, during the night the room got hot and stuffy, and uncomfortable. We bring our own fan, and turned it on in the morning, which helped. I don’t know why the AC gave out and we couldn’t figure out how the AC controls worked.

Painful check in

The room was good, very spacious. It was a little noisy with announcements from the train station, but when you stay close to a train station then thats to be expected. Check in, however was very lengthy. There is someone manning the desk, but you have to check in via self check in and the electronic board is painfully slow. We were lucky, there was no-one waiting behind us as we muttered a few expletives. The person behind the desk did ask us if we were ok, but didnt offer to check us in the usual way
