The hotel was well located for an easy walk to good local German restaurants, the Hauptstraße, the Heidelberg Schloss, the Alte Brücke, and the market squares. There is also a direct shuttle to the Frankfurt Airport (which was very easy to book online) a block down the street at the Hilton that saved us a 20 minute walk to the train station. We were also able to cache our bags with the front desk after checkout to make it easier to do more sightseeing until our time to catch the shuttle to the airport.
