"Rented for my son’s 13th birthday celebration. The boys had a blast! Prior to us arriving, we had sent the host a message asking for the code so that we would have it upon arrival. He said he’d text it to us. When we arrived, we still hadn’t received the code, so I sent him a few texts asking for it. He didn’t call with the code until exactly 3:00 p.m. He said he had sent it through VRBO but there wasn’t a code in messages or the “check in” area on VRBO. We double-checked. As we walked in, the host had ordered 12 sugar cookies from Larry’s, as well as left a card & balloon wishing my son a Happy Birthday! Super nice & thoughtful of them. My favorite part is that you can see the entire dock from the inside of upstairs & downstairs. It made keeping an eye on the kids while trying to do things very easy. The only thing I thought was a bit much: if you want to arrive earlier than 4 p.m., they charge an additional fee per hour! Looking back, I would’ve much rather spent that fee at the inflatable park nearby and then checked in at 4 p.m. I’ve never had a host charge me extra, per hour, for checking in a little early or checking out a little late. There is also a camera on the back porch that points directly into the window by the dining room. We just shut the curtains as soon as we noticed it, but it seemed odd to have it angled in the direction it was. The hosts live next door and were outside the majority of the time we were outside. They both seemed nice enough though."

"Perfect little spot for the night after being out on the lake. It was too hot to use the fire pit outside but would definitely come back and rent the place again. The inside smelled amazing and was so cute."

"Very spacious house and perfect cove for anyone that doesn’t want to be on the main channel. House had a kayak and lily pad which was fun for the kids, and the water in that area is shallow, which is good if you have little ones. House had everything we needed including a grill, baking dishes, etc."

"Nice property. Location of dock to house is great for grandparents. A lot of wild life like deer walk around the area. Fishing was great off the dock. Tons of blue gill were caught. Kitchen is well equipped. Four queen beds was great for a family of seven. Everything you need is here for a great get away."
