Wonderful stay at The Waves Tulum. The beds are very comfortable, the air-conditioning was cold and the WiFi was strong. I would definitely stay here again during my next vacation to Tulum.

I cannot tell you guys about how much I recommend this place and how I have no words to describe The wonderful time I had at this hotel I loved every single moment of 5 days i stayed at this hotel. The staff from front desk to bars to resturant, housekeeping were is so nice and so willing to help, even though we had language barrier. The front desk person specially were so helpful, they are so quick to answer all your questions and so quick to help with whatever you it.

It's was just a few things did need adjusting the sheets was not clean both nights i had to go to the front desk about the bedding .Towels was dirty but that was ok because i had my own. Staff was very nice and helping with a few more months of hard work and construction that will definitely be a 10/10.And i will be back for the new improved hotel. And the restaurant food was great.

Overall, the property and the units are nice. Particularly for the price. The staff take very good care of the property and are friendly. The negatives are that you essentially have to go to the lobby to get any kind of assistance, the toilets clogged very easily, and the property does not provide wash cloths.

Friendly staff. No hand or face towels at all just two bath towels. Breakfast is brought to you and it’s okay. No pool bar no restaurant. Pools are not clean only the rooftop pool is clean due to no trees hanging over it. Close to authentic Tulum and strip.

Part of the hotel it seems that they don’t work on it so it looks like is going down, like the area of the pool, the cenote that it’s inside the hotel. Room had a lot of humidity and it smell bad the first day we got there, and by the 3rd day the smell got worst. In the other hand rooms are confortable, the jacuzzi on our balcony was good, the ambient was nice, workers were very friendly and helpful.

The Waves is a beautiful resort - clean with great amenities and wonderful staff. We especially enjoyed the pool and the spa area... I had one of the best massages of my life! Regarding our room, it was clean and well kept, and we really enjoyed the tub on our balcony. The shower was great too. Our biggest issue was with with the toilet seat that wouldn't stay on. Also more towels would've been appreciated. Wifi throughout the facility was quite spotty for us. Overall, a great stay - 4/5!

The staff at The Waves Tulum were incredibly kind and accommodating, which was the highlight of our stay. However, the property itself was extremely disappointing. The private pools were unusable due to mold and poor maintenance, the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, and even the towels provided were unclean. While the bed and sleeping areas were presentable, the overall lack of upkeep made the experience far from enjoyable. This property desperately needs better management and maintenance to match the hospitality of the staff.

Apart from the unclean and algae-filled jucuzzi attached to our room, the Waves Tulúm is a lovely facility. The concert area surrounding the jucuzzi was rather unclean, so it could have used some cleaning. There were a couple power outages while we were there, and the WiFi in the room was very weak. Walking around the area was safe. The front desk staff was quite helpful.
