This was the best hotel/condo rental I have ever stayed at. It was nice and clean, secure and it had a stunning courtyard. The one thing that I would say that I found wrong is that the pool had way too much chlorine, it was hard to swim in. This can be an easy fix.

Nice pool/garden area as shown on the pictures. Full equipped kitchen. Easy self-check in process and hosts were easily reachable via WhatsApp. Good location as it is very close to Calle 7. Would stay again at Panacea.

Very nice, spacious and clean apartment with the amenities one would expect. Lovely and large balcony. The pool area was great, but the sunbeds need cleaning. Decent small gym, but some machines were out of order. No room cleaning our entire stay, but I guess it could have been arranged had we asked. All in all a very nice and affordable stay.

The condo was spotlessly clean and the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable! The hot water in the shower didn't last long, but it was fine. They offer bicycle rentals for 100 pesos per day and it's less than 30 minutes ride to the beaches, 10 to the grocery store, and 15 ish to downtown. There is a pool, a gym, and parking available. We felt very safe there and it is within easy walking distance to some cheap taco stands and nicer restaurants, though the kitchen was very handy and we cooked daily. The staff is friendly and warm. We loved our stay and would stay again.

The residential suite was amazing, we had a large living room, kitchen and gorgeous balcony with a pool and garden view. The hotel staff were very friendly and we met Fifi, the hotel cat. This area is under construction, specifically the road next to the hotel, so having a rental car made it easy to explore. This property was very quiet and felt safe, we had the pool all to ourselves. Great place to avoid crowds!

Let’s start with the good. The pool is amazing. The condo is quiet. There is a lovely cat (maybe two) who took up residence. On the flip, I didn’t have hot water for two days, the air conditioner seemed to not work in the night, the lights flickered in the bedroom and there was no maid service. The internet cut out for the day while I was trying to work. Not the fault of the hotel but we also had no power without warning for an entire day. I didn’t have one day without some type of issue. Balcony wood was smashed and not fixed. I had to ask for toilet paper and trash bags - which seemed like an imposition. No iron or ironing board. No kettle. Basically 2 of every dish, cracked or chipped and a mish-mash of silverware. Knives were all chipped. While I could do breakfast, I can’t imagine actually cooking. The compost bin under the sink was not air tight and smelled so much you could smell it up through the drain. You had to take your own trash out. I was given two beach and two regular towels and a few hand towels. No mat for the concrete bathroom floor or washcloths. I paid not a lot for this room, in the off season. You get what you pay for. I realize that now. It’s not a bad place, just the bare minimum of what was advertised. Great for Instagram, but like, sweating through everything trying to sleep. I wanted quiet and I most certainly got it! Forced in more ways than one!

Pancea hotel felt like a beautiful oasis on the outskirts of town. Our room was huge and accommodated our family of 5 nicely. We had some issues with communication with the hotel prior to our arrival and were dropped off at the door of the compound not knowing how to get in, so I wish we had a bit more explanation around that as we tried numerous times to contact them prior to our arrival. Also, I don’t think there was any cleaning service if the room during our stay. Maybe you had to ask for it? Again, just limited communication or instruction on how things ran there. There was talk and pictures of breakfast on their site but that was also a service not available during our stay. The staff were kind and helpful when we had questions or issues. And the pool and grounds were so beautiful and quiet. The location was a bit inconvenient for our family of 5 to get anywhere but that was an overall Tulum problem for us. For the price, we definitely felt the room and hotel grounds were a great value and would recommend this place for anyone going to Tulum.

I had such a wonderful stay at Panacea and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Tulum! From the very beginning, the communication was outstanding. The team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful, making everything feel easy and seamless from check-in to check-out. They were always quick to answer questions, offer recommendations, and help with anything I needed, which made the entire experience completely stress-free. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It felt like the perfect place to relax while still being close to everything. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. What really stood out was how effortless the whole experience felt. Great communication and genuine hospitality can make all the difference, and the Panacea team absolutely delivered. Thank you for such a fantastic stay - I would happily come back and stay here again!
