"I was attending The Greatest Gathering in Derby, so I needed somewhere to stay. Leaving it to the last minute like I usually do, there weren't many places left that were a) cheap, and b) within easy reach of Derby. "Absolutely beautiful room and bathroom. Tiny issue was it was a little chilly and we couldn’t get it to warm up. The manager did his best to help as it was late when we realised. However we were superbly cosy under the duvet and blanket anyway!
The location was spot on. Beautiful area. The self check in was easy. Would be great to hire a few rooms and then use the kitchen and cellar room downstairs for group socialising. Thoroughly recommend. "

"Really lovely stay in Torchon. Perfect space for a couples getaway. Surprisingly well soundproofed. Nextdoor bar could be heard but not invasive at all.
Slight downer was an issue with a leaking pipe causing the water and electricity to fail Sunday morning. Very impressive recovery! A large team were onsite immediately fixing the problem. Only a minor inconvenience that could have been much worse.
Lovely room, comfy and everything we needed. Highly recommend "

I thought I had already paid online by debit card. At the counter, I had to check my bank account again to make sure there was no duplicate payment before I paid.
The room, towels, and bedding were average; just a few hairs and specks were found.
